What is provided in my cabin?
We provide the bedding materials; sheets, blankets, and pillows. The House and Suite are the only units with towels and cookware provided.

All cabins have an outdoor fire ring and picnic table.
​
What should I bring?
Bring towels, soap, silverware, cooking utensils/pots/pans, and any other tools you may need to enhance your camping experience. If you forget something, there's a good chance we have it in our general store!

Do the cabins have kitchens and bathrooms?
All cabins have indoor bathrooms (toilet, sink, shower) and full kitchens (refrigerator, stove, sink). Coffee-makers and microwaves are not provided by MacBeth's.

Do the cabins have air-conditioning and heat?
All cabins have heat. The House and Suite are the only units with air-conditioning.

Is firewood provided?
Firewood is included for cabins that have an indoor fireplace. Firewood is available for purchase at our general store.
Are the cabins pet-friendly?
ALL units are pet-friendly EXCEPT for the Suite. We ask that you do not leave your pet alone in the cabin for extended periods of time and that your pet is kept on a leash when outdoors. Pets are an extra $10/night or $50/week.

How close is MacBeth's to the recreational activities?
We are within walking distance of Cook Forest hiking trails, fishing streams, and canoe/kayak rentals. Horseback riding, restaurants, bars, and mini-golfing are all within a short drive.

When are check-in/check-out times?
Check-in is at 4:00pm, check-out is at 10:30am.

How far in advance should I reserve my cabin?
We book cabins a year-to-date in advance. Cabins reservations are filled quickly, especially riverfront cabins. We recommend calling in February/March for prime summer options, and calling in April for fall options. If we are not able to find the perfect cabin for you, we can put you on a waiting list in case of a cancellation.

Are you open year-round?
We are closed the first week of December through mid-March.

Is there WiFi? Is there cell service?
There is no WiFi in our cabins. We do have WiFi around our general store if you need to check emails. This wifi is not speedy or extremely reliable due to our rural location. Verizon service users may have some cell phone service in our cabins, but reception in spotty. Cell service is stronger right at the top of the hill.
